”This was such a beautiful place! I stayed 2 nights with my husband and two children and wished that we booked another night! The property was really cool nestled along huge pines. There was a nice seating area with a fire pit and plenty of wood. The river was a nice treat! My boys caught brooke trout and some chubs. At night its pitch black and you could see the stars well. An outdoor shower topped it off!The host was amazing and very responsive. I would highly recommend it to friends. ”

”The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block...

”Our stay at the “cabin” in Townsend was the most wonderful experiences that we have had. Everything was perfect. The home was beautiful, with lots of special touches. We had no problems, nothing was missing, everything was clean, well equipped and just as it was advertised. We had 19 family members who loved the 8 bedrooms, game room and property. Whether it was rain or shine, it didn’t matter. We are still relishing the afterglow from our weeklong stay. ”

”What a delight! Had a good balance of creature comforts(hear/shelter/hot tub/sauna/showers) and true camping(detached outhouse/no running water). 2 things I’d suggest is limiting the amount of scent on the linens and having a small guide to local hiking/store options. We had a blast!”

”My daughter and 2 granddaughters decided on a weekend getaway for Mother’s Day weekend. My granddaughters enjoyed kayaking, we fished of the docks (we all caught something). Ended the evening with a bonfire.Lots of laughs and lots of memories made.I am so happy to have stayed here. I highly recommend staying here.”

”Enjoyed the property. Really enjoyed sitting on the covered deck during a nice rain. Caught bluegills of the peer. The canoe only has one seat in the very rear, middle person has to sit on the floor. Plenty of sleeping room for our family. We never exceeded six people. Some came and left. Grounds were well manicured. Spent a little time in the garage which has a bar. My only concern was I only got replies from VRBO. I was worried the host wasn’t aware because of no communication until...
