”This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. It's in great shape, it has a grill and the kitchen utensils meant for cabin life. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We enjoyed the calls of the loons, the dock and the fire pit. The only draw back (which is also a plus for a nature escape) is that it took about 30m minutes to get to town so come prepared with food for the...

”I booked online for me, my mom and my daughter. It was supposed to be 2 full size beds when I submitted it, when we arrived there was only 1 king bed. Which eventually it wasn’t the end of the world. We initially called the number and Maureen answered and said she would call and see if someone would switch, but we ended up telling her it was fine. We ended up calling back because the AC wasn’t working and Maureen said the AC was broken and they don’t “make people aware of it”, even though online...

”Rental space was clean and comfortable, decorations and theme were really cool. Pool table a plus! Thoughtful items throughout the space. Stocked with water, snacks, and toiletries if needed. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and towels. We had a good stay.”

”Very clean and cozy! It’s the perfect cabin for 1-2 people. Even though it is right off a main road, it was pretty quiet. I wish the lake was more visible from the place (there is another cabin in front of this one that blocks the view). The couch and bed were not very comfortable, but I loved the kitchen benches and table. My biggest frustration was that my devices could not find the WiFi network and I had little to no service the entire time. ”
