”This was our 16th annual family vacation and our second summer in a row there. We've never stayed at the same place twice but we enjoyed this place so much. Great home for a large group - well-stocked kitchen for cooking for a lot of people. Lots of lake toys available, outside games, trails, ice cream shops about 20 minutes away. We had four generations, 17 people ages 3-82.”

”The inside of the house was well suited for our group of 14 people and our dogs. There were ample towels in both bathrooms as well as in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment! The bed linens were good quality! There is some traffic noise being near a busy road but it’s more quiet towards evening. The yard is large but could use some trimming and cleanup! We really enjoyed and utilized the big outside table and chairs! We had a very memorable weekend!”

”The house was beautiful and very clean! The back yard was so serene and quiet! We took the canoe out in the water to go fishing, unfortunately we did not catch anything but it was still a fantastic time! The only issue we had was with the tv in queen bedroom upstairs, would not connect to the internet so we had to put a DVD in. Otherwise everything was amazing and we will definitely be back!!”

”Check in with Mike was simple because he communicated with us 24 hours before we arrived with a code. The kitchen facilities were wonderful with a grill on the deck. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and well appointed with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The access to a relaxing lake place with an opportunity for our grandchildren to fish from the dock and enjoy games of ping pong was the highlight for our family, along with making s’mores around the fire pit in the evening. ”This was our second time staying and we loved it. The spider problem was gone which was a huge relief and much appreciated. There were minor issues that didnt bother us but want to be sure you are aware: Microwave handle broken, lower level bathroom toilet seat was broken (we fixed it) balcony off loft bedroom was very dirty with a mound of dirt and unwashed table. As I said, it didnt bother us but if I were an owner, I would want to know. we hope we can visit again! Thank you for sharing...

”It had been a tough year for our family, and we were badly in need of a getaway surrounded by loved ones and the beauty of nature. The Red Door Lodge was the perfect prescription. The octagonal, log house has a feel of authenticity yet with all the modern conveniences.
