”The front of the property was dated but inviting. Our room was to the rear of the property and door to our room was unkempt and uninviting. The room itself was as pictured, however the tan and yellow colours were created from age old furnishings, rugs and drapery. The fragrance in the room was that of an age old smoking room. On the positive the sheets and pillowcases were clean, as was the room. Staff offered a different room which we looked at however we decided not to stay”

”We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Kettle Valley Beach Resort. Unfortunately, the property was nothing like it appeared in the online photos. The cabin was dirty when we arrived, with bugs on the floors and walls, and there were used, dirty washcloths hanging in the bathroom. The overall cleanliness was so poor that we didn't even want to take our shoes off inside. The entire place smelled old and stale, making it feel anything but comfortable or relaxing. ”Lovely place to stay. The pool was nice. Close to the beach and 15ish minute walk to downtown. There were a lot of families with small children when I stayed that were loud and it echoed in the courtyard/pool area. As my room was so close to the pool it made escaping the chaos a bit tough. Overall great stay, would come again”

”The room was good. It had everything we needed. The right amount of beds, fully functional kitchen and a good working air conditioner. The only thing was that the floor was dirty. I did not take my sandals off. The very good thing was that my car wouldn’t start and the front desk staff called maintenance to assist me. Paul was the first to arrive and then called Dave. ”Clean room, comfortable beds. The bathroom was a generous size. Good sized fridge for beverages and with a separate freezer compartment.”

”The motel was just across the lake where the water park is. The location was the most attractive point of our stay! The cleanliness is not the strongest feature of the motel, but there was a kitchen and where to sleep, so we didn’t care much for the room itself.
