”There were several restaurants, a wonderful grocery store, and of course the beach were all within walking distance. The staff were extraordinarily attentive. The muffins for breakfast were dry on one day and amazing on the next. The room didn't have any hand or body lotion like I'm used to seeing in most hotels, but the proximity to the ocean made it less of a necessity. ”

”I spent 4 nights at The Inn at Moonlight Beach and I was still not ready to leave! Every morning I took a nice long stroll down Moonlight beach, and stopped off for coffee at Lofty. A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice. I stayed in Sweet Bay, which had nice high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a mini kitchen and a large soaking tub. All of the touches were so well thought out. I loved the sound machine with the sound...

”Loved the poolside including the seating. Didn't really appreciate being awakened by the midnight phone call from staff asking if we were doing karaoke (?). Would have been nice to have some salt and paper available, a flat oven pan and more than a six person set of silverware.”

”Clean, comfortable room. Good ocean view. Good parking, but stairs to entrance from parking area steep for anyone with knee issues. Handicap entrance at north end of building much easier entrance. ”

”I have stayed all over Southern California and this location and vibe can’t be beat! Very few kids stay here it is more for adults but my 18 year old daughter and I had the perfect time. The staff is great and very accommodating. For sure take a chance on this one . Tucked between Carlsbad and Encinitas. ”

”Changes rooms three times bc AC units in rooms are so loud. Third room still had less than ideal AC rattling, desk had paint splashes and nicks. Food was fine, not outstanding. Pool looks out over a parking lot but there is an ocean view beyond the parking lot. Overall would not return.”
