”We loved the accommodations and felt very welcomed as we entered the home. We have been visiting Galena for years as a family and the setup was perfect for all ages as well as our 11 year old goldendoodle. We spent our mornings on the front porch having coffee, late mornings playing pickleball by the marina, afternoons at the pool, and dinners downtown (always have to go to Fried Green Tomatoes). We enjoyed the screened in porch at night, relaxing on the couch, or playing uno at the kitchen...

”Our stay was wonderfully relaxing. Our only issue were the rain storms but that was the fault of Mother Nature. The owner was in contact with us and responded quickly to our questions. The view was calming and the cabin was quiet. We plan to return next year. ”

”We had a nice stay and plenty of room for the family. The host was great for checking in with us and making sure everything was ok. The dishwasher leaked and he said he’d send someone to fix it. I just told him, we ate out a lot and would hand wash what we used, so he could send someone after our departure. The only thing I was disappointed about was the yard was not maintained as we would expect. They did come mow a couple days after our arrival and graded the driveway from storm wash out. The...

”Simple checkin, lovely home. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed! The sleep just hits different out here. We loved how far removed we were yet how quickly we could still get into town. Very cool to see the rolling summer hills and big green trees and even hear the wildlife from afar at night when we arrived. We weren’t in the suburbs anymore ;) Even as a very tall couple we still had plenty of space to spread out. We reco Galena brewing - ask for Kyler! ”

”We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful cabin. It is the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed in. Nestled back in the woods (yet so close to town) with an amazing view. The beds were very comfy and you had everything you could need. We cooked steaks on the grill and enjoyed the firepit at night. ”Well-appointed, beautifully decorated home-it was great for our family get-together. Bright, spacious space. Just step out on the screened porch to see deer across the pond, listen to birds or bullfrogs. We also enjoyed the rocking chairs on the covered porch downstairs while our child played on the sandy beach in front. The foosball table downstairs was a family fave as was the catch and release fishing in the lake. Great communication with responsive host.Pro tip: grab groceries at Sullivans...

”Steep private road to beautiful lake view and cabin. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Peaceful and serene. Fish were biting and the paddle boat was fun. It was hot during our stay and A/C only on top floor but the scenery is worth it and the shower is not made for fluffy people. ”
