”The bedrooms were quite shabby. The carpet was stained, the TV remote didn't work, nor did the bathroom fan and the dressing table chair was worn through. In my husband's room the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied and the wall heater was very marked and dirty. Every other guest we spoke to had similar stories. To be fair, the public rooms were in a better condition.”

”Very clean rooms great bed. Breakfast was good but had better. But has browns were fantastic. They seem not to keep up even though not a lot of customers. Only Negative is the room needs Air Conditioning. ”

”Overall a nice hotel highlighted by Bri on reception and many other helpful and friendly staff. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. Our family room had lots of space and everything was clean. Breakfaat was good as were the facilities of pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Our only change would be not to have dogs staying; one dog howled for a good while at 7.30 am on the sunday: I think guests had...

”Was clean but very dated dull and drab furnishing, windows need net curtains or similar in the rooms that over look canal,436, as rooms opposite can see directly into your room if you don’t have curtains drawn which makes the room dark and the need for lights is not ideal, bathroom very old sanitary ware, toilet didn’t flush very well and took for ever to refill, cracked floor tiles, poor soap dispenser, really needs an update, overpriced. Hot breakfast was ok , no fresh fruit poor selection...

”Good comfortable bed and spacious room/suite. Staff friendly and tried to be helpful. Not so good, allocated wrong room type, corrected when raised with the hotel. Correct room had very obvious damage which no attempt had been made to repair, when raised was told no other rooms available with an apology.”
