”Absolutely beautiful hotel, a real treasure! I don't understand why anyone would want to go an ordinary chain hotel when they can overnight in 1904! I got good value for my money, a really beutiful room. The breakfast was also excellent and rich. It is situated quite near to the steps to Mount Aksla, in the middle of the shopping area. Everything is done with the best possible taste!”

”I was really pleasantly surprised. I thought this was a hotel, but it is actually a dorm room facility. It was clean and in good shape, it wasn't a hot day so keeping the fully opening window open was enough to cool the room down. Based on the age of the people running the hotel, I think this is like a summer job for teens to run the place. They did a good job here. ”We had a very relaxing holiday in this well-equipped and cozy holiday home. The view of the fjord from the living room window immediately puts you in a holiday mood. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was excellently equipped, and the entire house was spotless and well maintained. If we return to this region of Norway for another holiday, we will definitely come back here.”

”Interesting lodging. It's an apartment building that seems to have longer term tenants, it's not really a hotel as there's no staff on site. We were able to reach a very helpful and friendly staff person via phone, however. Shared bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Clean. Good grocery market 2 kins down the hill. Overall, good value.”
