”We booked a twin room that was very large. It was clean and the beds comfortable. The room and hotel could do with a bit of TLC but reflected the price which was really reasonable. It even included breakfast which was an unexpected bonus 😄 Staff were pleasant and very helpful”

”Accessible room was perfect. I chose not to have breakfast so not able to comment on breakfast or bar area, because fir my visit I was visiting family and had lots of activities planned with them. Room was clean and the walk in shower in the accessible room so much better than trying to climb into lowered bath to have a shower. ”

”The hotel was ideally located for visiting a relative in the nearby hospital. The ground floor room was large, with a large comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, hotplate and microwave. I enjoyed swimming pool and steam room and there was also a sauna and spa facilities. There was a garden and an outdoor seating area. As we were only staying over between hospital visits, we did not use the restaurant.”

”The self serve check in machines x 2 were not working. No one the front desk, asked the lady managing the bar she said she would be there in a bit, but in the meantime continued to serve new people coming up to the bar, cleaned multiple tables all the time whilst I was waiting just to check in. Once I asked again and she came over to help,! but she was sickly sweet. I just wanted to check in. 20mins later it finally happened. Room was good, had kettle and tea available for the morning. ”The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was 1st rate - having been upgraded to an executive room! The general feelfid not come over as a 4* establishment eg Staff attire was very casual and at times slovenly.”

”We were lucky with the weather and had a drink on the pleasant outside terrace before supper. Perfect location for site seeing in Ely. Private parking , although off site , is very welcome as no parking in town. All was good.”
