The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.”

”The television was not loud enough. It would only go to a set level and was difficult to hear. The breakfast situation was horrible. There were no clean plates or utensils for a large number of guests. They said the were hand washing dishes and utensils. There was no water available at breakfast. The cheese pizza we had for dinner was a sloppy mess in the middle. Almost as if the le was no crust in the middle of the pie. The Riverview grill is horribly mismanaged. ”I have no issue with hotel rooms with run down, tacky furniture - especially when the price is right - but there is no excuse for the room being dirty. Although the hosts were friendly, they need to change how they clean. And if they can’t get the gross dirt off the cabinets and furniture - replace it! If we weren’t just using the room to sleep, I would have left and found a way to seek my money back from Expedia. At least sheets were fresh and soft. I just didn’t enjoy the feeling that I needed...

”Our stay was good. Sad to say, our bed looked like it had just been remade after the last guest. Our top cover had stains on it, and our sheets did not look clean. When I woke up in the morning to leave, I always take the sheets off the bed to help with housekeeping. Our bedroom sink was clogged, and water did not go down after I used the sink.
