”The place is nice enough and entertaining for little ones. Love that there are bikes and boats to use. Some other things felt halfway thought-through. I received a welcome email saying that breakfast would be served everyday. When we woke up on Monday, there was no breakfast and no communication. The grill kit comes with utensils and a lighter, but doesn’t come with anything to put grilled items on or salt/pepper. A few mismatched plates were in the cabinet, though they had not been cleaned...

”I really wanted to like the room and property as I love the area. But as my friend dropped me off (and thank goodness he didn’t leave right away!) I walked into what I thought was the office. However, there was a sign posted saying the check-in office is at the Pelican Bldg. I’m from out of town so I called the number, spoke to the clerk, explained my situation, and asked how to get to the check-in office. She said, “Well, I don’t know where you are so unsure how to direct you.” Really?!? How...

”Our group of eight friends had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property -- and we especially enjoyed the serene lake, firepit overlooking the lake, paddleboards/kayaks, and the nice hot tub and sauna. The cabin itself is cozy, nicely decorated, and includes lots of extra touches -- including a fun coffee bar, robes, and beach towels. The kitchen is spacious and modern with nice dishes, glasses, and everything needed for cooking and serving. The hosts are friendly and made us feel welcome --...

”Rustic Ridge Lodge was the perfect fit for our family. We had space to spread out, inside and out. The game room was a perfect addition to take a break from the heat and water. We enjoyed the included water crafts, fishing off the dock and pontoon, and even had a chance to use the firepit. We've stayed in many locations throughout the years and this one by far had the prettiest view. The hosts were able to answer any questions that we had. If we return to the area, we will definitely keep this...
