Manning Memorial Lighthouse, the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum, Crystal Lake Golf, and the Crystal Mountain year-round resort.

Set on an expansive corner lot, this comfortable, completely updated home features a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar and an array of stainless steel appliances to make meal prep a snap! Dine together at the nearby table or bring a few board games out on rainy or snowy days. The living area invites you to switch on the electric fireplace, sink into the plush sectional, and stream all your favorite channels. You'll also have high-speed internet access at your fingertips if you want to share photos and updates of your trip with friends and family.

Outside, close out your days gathered around the firepit while you roast s'mores, share stories, and pick out constellations in the night sky.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice location and cute house, but there were issues. The trash was falling out of the receptacle when we arrived, no room for our trash for 2 days until it was picked up. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Filthy floors that look like they had not been swept/vacuumed or mopped for a while, certainly not before we arrived. They have a bug infestation issue, and not your typical "up north" bug issues, but weevil beetle all through the house. The sheets had hairs on them, so I had to rewash them before we went to bed. The bad smell of the basement permeates through the house if you do not leave on the fans, dehumidifiers, and the air purifiers running 24/7 (which tells me they are aware of the problem). People before us left clothes in all of the drawers, cleaners didn't catch it I guess. There is no central AC, but a portable unit in the living room and fans in all the other rooms. The smoke detector kept going off and maintenance had to come out for that. You have to go through the bedroom to get to the sliding glass door that leads outside. Comfortable beds but flat pillows. The whole house needs a good cleaning, or even a regular cleaning would have been nice. Would not recommend with as many nicer rentals for the price in the area.

Great location for visiting the dunes and trails

The property was as pictured and as advertised. Everyone had a great time, and communication was excellent. We initially received the wrong door code, and the management company responded immediately with the correct code.

Fall break fun

Had a wonderful time here for fall break. Family plus my Mom and routine “up north” fun through all the small towns, shopping and vineyards. Beach was close by for sunset, morning hikes…all was good. We had a great long weekend. Would stay again for sure.

Great location, some issues

The place was mostly up to date and notably newly renovated. The beds were comfortable. The shower had nice hot water. The washer and dryer worked well and was a plus with three kids. Internet worked great and there was a large selection of games for the kids. However, we did not care for the cameras around the home (front yard, back yard and front porch) and GoogleHome sensors which were throughout the home and even mounted to the ceiling. The kitchen didn’t have any blinds or curtains which overlooked the street and busy walking path. There was no DVD player remote. Half of the outlets in the living room and hall way area did not work. No guard rails on the deck which is a safety concern. We also had dresser drawers with someone else’s clothes in them and found hairs that were clearly not our own in the twin size beds. The kitchen was decently stocked, however found it strange that were personal medical supplies in the pantry cabinet (tube feeding supplies). I feel like the home could’ve used some sand toys for families using the beach, some beach chairs/umbrella and a laundry basket. Aside from this, the place is in a great location and did the job for our vacation to Empire.
