”Excellent service, best hotel on our two week trip in Japan (Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto & Nara). Best breakfast too and buffet type dinner was superb. Nice extra was those two (free!) massage chairs. Room was nice, rather large and quiet and bathroom was clean. ”

”Fun experience in a traditional Japanese hotel. The dinner and lunch were great. Being right in the park made it super easy to visit the temple and feed the deer. The public bath is on the smaller side, but does the job. They called us a cab to the train station when we checked out which was nice. ”

”This is our favorite place to stay this Japan trip. The room is very large and spacious. The deep outdoor soaking tub is a huge plus traveling with a kid. You have to walk up the stairs to the 3rd floor but they have a luggage/cargo elevator so all you need to do is to walk yourself up there without the hassle to haul luggages. Parking is not included but there is a small paid parking lot right next to the backstreet of the hotel. Walking distance to JR Nara station.”

”I was considering wether to stay next to Nara Park (and in a Ryokan) or here next to the train station. I was very satiesfied with my choise since it was easy to arrive, move around and the hotel reminded ryokan because of its style. I could hear the trains passing by it didn’t bother me and otherwise my room was very quiet. The onsen spa downstairs is really nice. What I didn’t like that much was the lights in the room, I didn’t know how to switch toilet light off and the automatic light was a...

”Thank you very much for a wonderful stay at this idyllic Ryokan in the heart of Nara forest! The service was sublime. The two hostesses who welcomed me and served my exquisite Japanese meals were wonderful. The whole unit is detached, containing as it does a spacious tatami room, where meals were served, large bedroom with two large Western-style beds, an excellent bathroom with traditional stool, bucket and shower and a very deep bath, already drawn and ready to bathe in. This room had the most...
