The listing on Arbo looked great … nice setting & a hot tub over looking fields was the tranquil getaway we had in mind. However When we arrived we found the hot tun had not been cleaned (like & mud & hair). Also the temperature was.not hot.The accommodation wa dirty.. cups that were dirty with lisp it marked, shower not cleaned properly & bin dirty too. Worktops also dirty. The response to get it all...

”We've just spent a few days over New Year at Victoria House. We were a party of 6 adults and 6 older teens and the house was ideal for us. Plenty of space, a games room and separate small living room, well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. Bembridge is a great location, the village has a brilliant and friendly pub (The Old Village Inn), a good Coop, pharmacy etc. It's also walking distance to the harbour, and beach. Roger is a great host, he answered all our questions...

”The house was nearly perfect for our needs. Our two dogs loved the spacious garden which is really dog safe and also accessible via a side entrance. The kitchen and living room is suitable for living and cooking for a family of five (nearly) adults and in good weather conditions the garden and terrace enlarges the property enormous with sunny and shady places to be on every hour from dawn to sunset. The only little thing our two teenaged daughters didn‘t appreciate that much was the bunk bed and...

”This is an old fishing village. The houses are all old and very quaint. This house had great amenities, was clean and had off street parking. We loved and it and would definitely stay there again.”
