”Excellent stay, rooms very clean, staff were fantastic”

”We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. ”We were comfortable in our room but we found it unusual that the cleaning staff weren’t cleaning rooms until very late in the day. So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. The front of the property had two lovely patio sets however staff had overlooked cleaning them, so we gave them a quick brush off so we could use them. ”Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. All staff were so friendly and the steak for the evening meal was cooked perfectly as was the very generous breakfast . Definitely be back”

”We enjoyed our stay. The staff was really friendly. The pub and the beer garden is a lovely area. We enjoyed the beer. And the full English vegan breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable. Great location for walks. ”

”The hotel was easy to find and quite central for Keighley and venturing further afield. The car park is tucked behind the back, not so great. Although the staff were friendly and helpful at breakfast which was really cooked nice and tasted great, I found the lack of a reception quite unusual. Our room was comfy and clean but the shower was quite poor, an over bath one which was not very powerful. It says it is quirky, very true but also quite dated.”

”Extensive mould in the bedroom. Very dated decor in room and the taps were broken. Lots of cobwebs. Wedding on and the music played till 00.30 very loud, so couldn't sleep at all. A memorable stay for the wrong reasons”
