”Friendly and happy staff, new beds, with having a Miller and Carter steakhouse within walking distance. Wide open lounge and relaxing area both upstairs and down. Spacious rooms. Downside - no lifts (pun intended), no small fridge, older and squeaky doors. ”

”What a gem of a hotel. The staff were very welcoming, courteous and efficient. Our room was immaculately clean. The hotel was warm and comfortable which is great in the winter. The ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both meals were excellent. Definitely scores 10 out of 10 for me.”

”I used to work in a Hilton hotel and the standards of the holiday in are on par with the Hilton the hotel room was very clean friendly staff great selection on food at breakfast I found 2 Problems with the Holiday inn 1 not enough tea milk and sugar in room there was only 2 tea bags 4 sachets of sugar needs to be more after 8 hours driving the last thing you want to do is run about for tea and sugar. the second thing is i went to have a evening meal in the hotel but i ended up going out driving...

We dined in the evening and breakfasted the following morning. The food was good and service efficient, friendly and courteous. Our room was warm and clean and the bed very comfortable. What more do you need from a hotel? We will definitely stay should we go back to the area.”

”What a beautiful village and setting. The old white hart is a wonderful building, original features with tastefully done modern twists. Our double bath was more like a small pool, truly truly spacious. We loved it! ”
