”Wayside cottage is absolutely lovely. Suzanne and John have thought of everything you could possibly need from comfy beds to an abundance of fluffy towels to treats like a bottle of chilled wine, orange juice, bread for breakfast, cereals, milk, biscuits and even sweeties. The cottage was spotless and there was plenty of room for four adults. There is even a lovely, secluded garden. I can't recommend Wayside cottage highly enough and I hope that we will be able to stay again next time we are in...

”We had a lovely weekend at The Lodge.Gorgeous welcome hamper with home made produce ( the chilli jam was especially delicious). The Lodge was well equipped with everything we needed, washing pods and dishwasher tablets included! The washing machine was very handy. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. ”The house in Point Clear Bay is exactly as described. We booked for a family of 6 (2 kids and 2 grandparents) and they all loved the location. Sitting outside by the large doors overlooking the sea was fantastic. The sunset and moon views were great and it was very relaxing watching the tides change. The house is very well equipped with notes, guides, amenities and welcome basket of goodies. I can recommend crabbing by the sea when the tide is almost high, and a walk around the peninsula....

"Upon check-in we asked if the room has a fridge and were told yes. This was important for medication that has to kept cool. Turned out that the room did not have a fridge (had been taken out). Contacted lobby, they kindly changed the room for upgraded one with fridge. This was on the top floor, where AC was not lowering the temp from 25 C even after three hours, too hot to sleep. Did not want to change the room again... The fridge was only up to +15 C, which was too warm for medicine, had to move that to downstairs for a real fridge. Staff was helpful and trying their best, but because all above left a feeling that things are not as they should be. Checking in was also extremely slow with long ques. Take your own towels from the room if going to gym or swimming, they do not offer these or flip-flops there. The lockers in the changing room were not working (locks)."
