”2nd time to stay here in last 6 months. Rooms are clean, A/C and ceiling fans keep room cool. The bed is comfortable. It’s an older hotel that they are trying to update. Would/will stay there again. Also, for St Croix, the price is reasonable. Did not eat at restaurant so I can’t comment on that.”

”Owner was very friendly and hospitable. Room was clean (we did not like the rugs). Bed was comfortable. We do suggest the shower contain a shelf for all of the guest’s shower items. We had to put everything on the shower floor. We suggest having a clothing cabinet in the room to store clothing for guests. They did supply, I believe, 8 hangers and the room had plenty of rod space for hanging clothes.
Overall, we give the hotel a 4.5 out of 5.”

”We loved this place. It was quiet, remote, which is what we love and had all the amenities we needed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely would go back! Beautiful place and island!”

”We enjoyed all the access the Buccaneer had to offer. The beaches are beautiful. The one thing I would do differently is rent a car. Also, I wish the property had access to rent a golf cart if you weren’t golfing. The expense of some of the food was something to plan for or to purchase a meal plan for the next trip. It was a great vacation, overall.”

”Sandcastle hotel was an awesome place to stay. The front desk personnel were helpful at check-in explaining what was available as far as amenities during our stay. The only thing I can say is the continental breakfast offered at the check-in desk needs an improvement. Other than that, the hotel grounds are pleasant and well manicured. The room I choose had a nice veranda, a kitchen with a larger refrigerator, stove and a microwave. The beach was clean, water clear ( great for snorkeling ) with...
