”We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. When I got there I found out that parking was in fact not free, but $1 per 20 minutes with a maximum of $24. I was willing to pay this, but was disappointed because I...

”The staff are phenomenal. We received a text prior to check-in with specific details to ensure check-in went smoothly. Be sure to complete the tour early in your stay, especially if you're staying in a ground floor suite. I appreciated the focus on hydration as Charleston is warm in June. The on-street parking worked well as most of the available spots opened after 4:00 p.m. ”

”My hubby and I made a quick trip to the area. It’s a 15-20 min walk to the shopping/restaurants/market area. Beautiful city! The room was super clean and quaint. Communication with Courtney was top notch. Very responsive with any questions we had. The bed is sooooo comfortable! Would definitely recommend and would stay again! ”

”I greatly enjoyed my time here and wish I’d had more time to enjoy the inn itself. There are two upstairs “porches”, one with a hammock and the other with rockers. The breakfast is scrumptious and thoughtfully prepared. The inn keeper is friendly, well versed in local and world history, very helpful and responsive to guest requests and needs.
