”We had stayed at 3 other hotels in Japan and by far the customer service was fantastic!! We were welcomed right away as we got out of our taxi and knowing it was a super hot day, we were given ice cold water bottles right away. There were chairs to relax in which was so nice. Interesting when we stayed at the Intercontinental in Tokyo there were so chairs to sit and signs everywhere stating not sit on the ledges. ”Stayed for one night here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had good amenities. The onsen (bath) at the 6th floor was very nice and had good water temperature, not too hot but pleasantly warm. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast chef was super friendly and spoke good English too - he explained what each dish was clearly. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Kyoto.”
