”Staffs were wonderful , very clean clean kimono every day , food was good water tea and coffee also matcha available all the time . Hot springs , natural hot springs, sauna and steam room available , at any time . Respect the culture no shoes, but locker provided for shoes. Shoes were provided. Loved the place. ”Extravagant and pompous. Despite being relatively modern, the hotel feels dated due to perhaps some desire for old times luxyry.
Huge in size and very crowded. The room was literally minutes away from the front desk. Superior twin room was spacious for local standards and impeccably clean.
Breakfest buffet seems to favor quantity of varieties over quality. We did like the cat-robot collecting used dishes though.
Restaurants appear hugely overpriced concidering the alternatives in the...
”Staff at this site were great. We enjoyed the breakfast and its options. We appreciated the water filling stations that offered sparkling water. Room was comfortable. Trains were walkable from this location but main line was a bit far. ”
”Loved staying here. Room was huge and spacious--much bigger than other hotels in Japan. Neighborhood was quiet and it felt like an experience to be in a more residential part of town than others. That said, it wasn't as close to shopping/restaurants, but there are still plenty of options around. We found that the bus was sometimes more convenient than the subway, and a good way to see the lay of Kyoto. It did take a little bit to get used to the automated system of checking in, but totally fine...

Only negative is the location, one stop with train from Kyoto station. Railway museum and Aquarium nearby, other than that not much more. Still a very solid option in Kyoto, especially for families with children that might need a larger room for an affordable price. ”

"Parasta hotellissa oli sen "kylpyläosasto" eli Onsen.
Onsen oli monipuolisin ja laadukkain koko matkallamme ja selittää varmasti sen miksi hotellilla on huippu arvostelut.
Hotellin siivoustaso jättää hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta yleisesti ottaen paikka on riittävän siisti. Lisäksi sängyt olivat omaan makuuni epämukavia ja tyyny lähes hyödytön. Joten aivan 10/10 kokemusta paikka ei tarjonnut.
Paikka tarjoaa ehkä vähän koomisen paljon kaikkea pientä kivaa asiakkailleen. Löytyy ilmaista jäätelöä, teetä ja kahvia sekä iltapalaksi ilmainen ramen. Hieman erikoinen toimintamalli, mutta piristi matkaa."
