”The motel is warm and charming. The lady at the reception was very friendly and even contacted us very quickly as we accidentally left some clothes in the room. Neighbourhood is quiet and there’s a great pizza place a few blocks away. You can easily walk to the city or catch an uber for $7.”

”My parents were the managers in the 70s (I was 3-6 years of age). It was the Sandy Bay Motel back then. So wonderful to recognise the buildings and remember some of the fun times when I was little. We had several "famous" people stay with us. My fondest memory was meeting Acker Bilk who gave me a ukele. As a 4 year old I was tickled pink! I will definitely be back soon and thank you for so much for the trip down memory lane. 😊”
