”Absolutely perfect getaway for a weekend. Cottage is so warm and inviting and smells like a cottage in the woods should! We loved the music upstairs and down, walks to the pond and beyond, and the amazing jacuzzi. We will definitely be back - what a perfect way to spend our 25th anniversary. We would love to read more about the history of the building/land if available!”

It really is a beautiful place with a nice view. Very quiet and peaceful, it was a nice location to get away from the city. Only 4 minutes from Rock River, so that was a nice bonus. ”Absolutely perfect. We have stayed in SO many rentals and this was by far our favorite. The koi pond right next to the house was truly amazing. The dogs were enthralled by the koi fish (and so were we, honestly). The house itself is adorable and very comfortable. Jeremy is a phenomenal host and clearly takes pride in what he does. The chicken coop and area behind the house and pond are also beautiful and fun to wander. Equinox pond is down the street and lye Brook falls hike is a very short...

”We liked staying at the place as it had good amenities (washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge with a freezer, fan, inflatable bed, wifi, cable, free parking spots. etc) and a lot of space. Where there is no central AC, it had a window unit which worked well - we had a comfortable stay in mid-July.”

”Owner Brent was helpful and quick to respond to questions. The house is near Mount Snow great for skiing! Very nice place to stay, we will definitely stay again when booking for next year.”
