”The property is amazing. The walk in coffee shop unfortunately guilts/shames you into to tipping a min of 20%, even if you just order a bottle of water. The big screen they turn around for you to pay that makes you select a tip or not is irritating as everyone behind you can see if you tip. If I order my food and I am standing, I am not tipping.. those staff get a non-tipped wage. Get rid of the tip shakedown …”

”The day we checked in and as we almost made it to our room, the fire alarm went off. With luggage in hand we ran down the stairs and found the outdoor exit with another guest. We made our way to the front of the building and learned it was a false alarm, thank goodness. Anyway, fun times :-) The staff is wonderful and kind. Breakfast was wonderful with optoons to have omelets made the way you want, and pancakes too. Our room was clean and quite. Overall, great stay.”

”Very clean, room smelled so nice and clean. Check in was easy. Room was big. Pool was fine, nothing fancy but clean, water was warm and my kids loved it. It’s certainly not the most scenic location, it’s in a parking lot next to OfficeMax, but the hotel was nice and we’d stay again if traveling through Anchorage.”

”The staff is friendly . I was disappointed that the Crows Nest was closed . There are so many people in town . I had looked forward to going to The Crows Nest 😔 Why do they close during the summer and there busy season ?????????”

”When we finally checked in, our room was like 92 degrees. We asked to be moved to another room where the air conditioner worked. Also, we were there early and had to wait pass check in time to be able to check in. They finally moved us to another room that was great.”

”The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that one might expect in a suite. The staff was wonderful & helpful - going out of their way both at checkin as well as during the stay. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to major roads and attractions. I would strongly recommend. And will stay again when next in Anchorage.”
