”We had a panorama sea view, which was excellent, but we had to share the balcony with the next door neigbours, which we found annoying and strange. The location was great on the top of the fill and only about 15 minutes walk from the center. The pool of neighbor hotel (which we were able to use fro free) was very nice (both indoor and outdoor), and the water even +31 celcius! ”Beautiful old hotel right by the sea and close to everything. The hotel has old charm and glamour, but needs some updating. We stayed in a room that hadn't been refurbished (we were told that all rooms should be done by April 2025). Room basically had no window since it was facing the opposite wall less than one meter away. I would definetely recommend to book a room that faces sea or atleast a streetview unless it is just a place to sleep. We picked a hotel based on availability of parking...

Toutefois, les meubles sont vieux, l'extérieur manque de peinture, les fenêtres étaient sales, Le plancher de notre chambre était très croche et recouvert de tapis comme solution de rechange à un problème de structure du bâtiment. I booked the smallest room for 3 day trip and as fairly big guy it was a mistake :) Shower so small that i was barely fitting myself in. But the room is ok if you just need a bed for the night. ”I hadn't stayed in aBritannia Hotel for quite a number of years because standards had slipped. This hotel really surprised me, it was of a high standard and immaculately presented. Helpful staff and the late check in was ideal as we arrive by cross channel ferry so we knew that we would be late checking in. Its a pity that we didn't have time to use the spa and golf course.”

”Very nice beach front hotel - our room was massive with a lovely sea view, comfy bed, and nice feel to it, the only negative was the shower was slow to heat up - but was fine when it got going. Breakfast was pretty decent - the toasters were a bit slow, and the coffee wasn’t great but for the price couldn’t really complain. I would happily stay in the hotel again. ”

"Beautiful old hotel right by the sea and close to everything. The hotel has old charm and glamour, but needs some updating. We stayed in a room that hadn't been refurbished (we were told that all rooms should be done by April 2025). Room basically had no window since it was facing the opposite wall less than one meter away. I would definetely recommend to book a room that faces sea or atleast a streetview unless it is just a place to sleep. We picked a hotel based on availability of parking but that really is not an issue. We found plenty of parking garages right in the center so if you don't mind walking 200 meters, there's no need to book a hotel with parking. "
