”From the pictures on the site, it indicated that toileries would be provided. But there was none to be seen. Initially had problems getting into my room, because the no. received was incorrect. Contacted the Office and this was corrected immediately. The no.19a bus goes to the 'Shirley' area, just ask the driver to put you off at the Howard Road bus stop. Take the 1st left and you are on Howard Road and the Guest House is on the right. The full address of your premises needs to include...

”I booked this hotel for couple nights and was very pleased with it. I've been in better hotels in my life but for the price I payed for my nights in Lansdowne it was worth it. Location of the hotel is excellent as it is right next to the beach (which can make lot of noise during windy times) and in less than a minute walk from grocery shop and Hastins' centre. Appearance of the hotel is decent compared to Finnish standards but rooms are very tidy and cozy. My bed was very shoft, maybe too soft...

”Nice location and good sized room. Room gets very warm even with the fan provided, as it gets direct sunlight in the morning. Be aware there is no reception of any kind, so you need to make sure you have been sent the building/room code and instructions to get in when you arrive. I hadn’t been emailed mine, and had to call the property phone number to get it, but the help over the phone was very nice and I got what I needed. Otherwise great room for the price. ”

”It was the mansion was amazing place to stay and we also had a little area to walk to that had a bar a store and a few other places. I cannot say enough about the staff the gentleman that seemed to be over the dining room, and the bar was absolutely amazing. ”This is a small hotel in a good location just a couple of minutes walk from the Brighton Pier. I stayed alone in a small (bigger than London small) room with a comfy bed, good shower, wall-tv and a fridge. Quite comfortable in March-April, however might get hot in the summer as there's no AC in this room. Breakfast also available, I did not use this opportunity. Service very friendly, made you feel welcome. Price level also very reasonable: I will definitely consider staying here again if back...
