”There's simply no reason to spend the money to stay here. There are many comparable hotels in Po'ipu or elsewhere on Kaua'i. It's the kind of place that's designed to extract every last dollar from you and provide only mediocrity in return. The coffee was particularly bad.
The place was also not that clean and in a state of disrepair. The hot tub frequently had a dirty film on the surface of the water or large clumps of hair. The steps down the the beach were broken, and instead of promptly...

”Part of the hotel is under construction affecting standard rooms. The standard rooms are really old and do not meet the quality that you would expect when staying at Sheraton. If we had known this we hadn’t stayed at Sheraton, especially when paying 400$ per night.”

”We can't understand how this hotel has a 5 star rating. We travel several weeks a year around the world and I've relied on reviews until now, but...
The main pool is full of screaming children, so if you're an adult without children, it's not for you. The adult pool was small and secluded with no amenities. The only restaurant in the hotel is a bar by the main pool, which honestly can't be called a restaurant. The "Deluxe studios" are in separate 3-story buildings with dingy and untidy hallways....
