”We spent two nights in this excellent two bedroom cottage 15 minutes walk from Chch CBD. The cottage is spacious with separate dining and lounge areas which were very warm and comfortablewith elegant decor. The bedrooms were also spacious and comfortable. ”Absolutely loved our stay at the Boathouse. The location in wine country is perfect- you can easily walk to several wineries, and the home itself was well stocked with all the supplies you need. I also need to comment on the decor- well styled and so adorable- everything is so well pulled together and quaint. We used the outdoor tub every night and enjoyed the stars too. Totally recommend.”

”Everything you could ever want is here :) It was all so neat and tidy. It is a lovely, quiet location. To open up the curtains in the morning to the ocean and the Southern Alps is just breathtaking, not to mention seeing dolphins in the bay as well. It was a shame to have to go home and we would definitely want to stay here should we ever be down that way again. An absolutely amazing place to stay :)”

”The property is exactly as I pictured it would be, the perfect location to explore the South Island of New Zealand. The size of the house was perfect for my wife and me and it was equipped for a small fajitas dinner and a couple of small breakfasts. The only issue was that the views from the property made it hard to leave since it was so breathtaking. We can’t wait to come back!”

”Our only complaint with this property were the beds. They were very soft and worn. We were a group of two couples travelling. All 4 of us had bad sleeps on the two beds and complained of sore backs. Good beds are so important. The rest of the cottage was locked lovely. ”

”Beautiful, magnificent views of the landscape, quiet, peaceful, fresh air, safe and secure. I didn't like the dining chairs. Unsafe to sit on as they are on an incline. My daughter-in-law fell backwards while sitting on the chair while her son was sitting on her lap. She nearly hit her head against the wooden bench. No freezer available and no exhaust fan above the cooking stove. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crow's Nest holiday home. Thank you.”

"Fantastic hotel! Breakfast was great (though I was missing some cheese and salami), friendly staff, beautiful rooms and common areas. Not in the city and there were some roadworks next to it but still a short walk from the center.Would definitely stay again!"

"Good location, very clean and nice hotel.The dinner at the restaurant was delicious! Only reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars: service, room and view from the window. My first room was very tiny with super limited space for big luggage. A wonderful receptionist gave me a lot better room but the window was facing a parking lot, also the fridge in the room was very loud. I otherwise liked all the workers except one older woman at the reception, she was rude and lacking some customer service skills which the others had. When I checked out I felt very rushed like she was in a hurry to get rid off me and she didn’t even bother to smile or ask how my stay was(I stayed there for one full week). I’ve worked at hotel receptions myself so I know some days are hectic but still it doesn’t mean you need to rush people and be rude."
