”The house is just lovely. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The host was invested in making us feel welcomed and well-taken care of. He suggested places to eat, walks and things to do and all were excellent. The accommodations were impeccably maintained. We slept very well. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and quite delicious. ”The venue is up a gradual slope, being around a 10 minute walk from the town centre however the view of the harbour during the walk is beautiful. Being close to the pulpit hill viewpoint makes a nice trip being only a couple minutes walk from the venue. Carolyn was very welcoming and seeing me as a female sole traveler, made me feel very safe and gave me suggestions for the best places to visit. ”Lovely stay and hosts. Stunning view over the little harbour from the room. Perfect for sunset viewing. They had a garden in front of the house where we sat in the afternoon reading. Spotless clean and modern room. Great bathroom and nice beds. Close to the house you have a pub and restaurant with good meals. We should definitely be happy to return.”

We stayed in the Cairngorm Suite, a beautiful room with everything you could need and more, and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was also to a high standard with great local produce.
