”Breakfast was good, but we were rushed out as they had booked others at 9am when we started at 8am. We were made to move and finish our breakfast in the communal lounge area. It was a good spread with lots of different sauce stations and stuff, but no fresh fruit. Wouldn’t say this is worth 30 pound. Our room had peanuts and crumbs on the floor. The owner upsold us on “a much better room” on arrival which was bigger but had no AC, was very hot and we were not given access to the hot tub...

”Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening. Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon). Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return.”
