”DO NOT BOOK THIS Hotel. This hotel has been taken over by the Ethiopian General for his military in the ongoing conflict. We were not made aware of this by Expedia or the hotel before reaching Lalibela and were shuttled to a third grade accommodation. Completely different from what I booked. This is terrible oversight from Expedia’s part sadly. If you book Lalibela Lodge, you WILL BE sent elsewhere when you arrive. Just know that.”
