”Situated in a lovely area of the Sussex Downs this small country pub provided ideal accommodation for our visit to Glyndbourne. Clean, simple but well appointed accommodation, with a good breakfast provided in the morning. Long Man Best Ale in cask available at the bar, which was a treat.”

”Expedia didn t mention that dogs were not allowed anywhere in the hotel apart from the rooms. The manager ended up allowing us to have breakfast in the room as well as a cooked breakfast which is not allowed normally in the room. The breakfast was ordinary. We asked for missing cups and never got them. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were not replaced in the bathroom on the second day and the cleaning was obviously fairly basic as we found a tablet (medecine) under the chest of drawers. The...

”Hotelli sijaitsi lähellä moottoritietä ja sinne oli helppo poiketa. Hotelli oli myös sopivan lähellä Dover'n satamamaa, josta matkamme jatkui seuravana aamuna. Hotellin vieressä oli hyvä aamiaisravintola. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hinta-laatu suhde oli ihan loistava. Voin suositella lämpöisesti muillekin matkaajille.”

”We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable.”

”The superior room was comfortable and led out to a huge quiet garden. But the decking and furniture outside were rotten. The bathroom had an unstable toilet and a difficult shower. Insulation was poor. Presentation on approach wasn’t great, with dead plants everywhere. Having said that, we had a great night’s sleep and staff were friendly and helpful. Location great.”

”We booked The Relais Cooden beach via Expedia particularly for its location and spa facilities. We had booked the "Cosy double room" because that was all that was left. On arrival we tried to book spa treatments but there were no available bookings during our three night stay. This was disappointing as there was no mention on the Expedia website that you needed to book in advance. Apparently, guests who booked directly with the hotel enjoyed free use of the spa whereas booking through Expedia...

”Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back.”
