It was our first time using the IHG chain, we stayed for three nights,first night was in a premium room,which was very nice and comfy, although a little dusty in areas!
The second night was spent in a corner suite which was a fabulous room until it came to sleep,the noise from the air conditioning was deafening and we were unable to sleep because of it ,it wouldn't turn off and I had to go to reception and complain.
Reception couldn't do enough for us ,but it meant that we had to move to a small room with a balcony despite paying for a suite, we were never offered a refund of any kind which surprised us !
Breakfast was an absolute disaster we tried three mornings to actually get breakfast but left without eating on two occasions along with two other couples,the staffing levels were non existent!
Overall we liked the hotel very much ,but would not stay there again because of the disastrous restaurant and the debacle with the rooms!
The reception staff tried their best but can only do so much!
Staff need training and more staff would help
