”Its an old thatched pub and the room shape and conditions reflect that - sloping floors and wonky walls but the bedding , towels etc were clean and fresh. Rooms are above the bar so not quiet until the pub closes. Pub downstairs is friendly and has a good atmosphere with plenty of choice behind the bar. They serve food but I didn't try any so can't comment on that. Reasonably large attached car park although theres no covered area or anything to chain a motorcycle to.”

”Hotellin yleistilat nuhjuiset ja epäsiistit, huone puolestaan kaiketi vastikään uusittu ja sisustus oli siisti, joskin ei sopinut hotellin tunnelmaan ollenkaan.
Ikkunoista veti paljon ja liikenteen melu oli todella iso ongelma. Yöllä ei saanut nukuttua edes korvatulppien kanssa.
Aamiainen oli myöhässä ja hieman sekava, emme tienneet mikä osa aamiaisesta kuului huoneen hintaan ja mikä ei.”

I had a wonderful stay at The Globe, Topsham. From start to finish, everything was excellent — comfortable rooms, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and great attention to detail. The location is perfect, and the staff made the experience feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. I’d happily return and highly recommend it. 5/5 on all fronts.”

”Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. ”
