”I only stayed for 2 days, had breakfast and even though I was the first to walk in early in the morning, I was greeted with warm smiles and hospitality.
I had a knee injury and the staff quickly prepared an ice bag for me.
The room was nicely decorated, very clean, and the bed was comfortable as well. Nespresso coffee in the room was wonderful.
I look forward to staying at the Vanguard again.

”Feels like home! The loft is excellent, just be prepared to take your stuff through the spiral stairs. Affordable comparing with hotels in Ann Arbor. Owner and housekeeper are super nice!”
”The receptionists haven’t been trained to do their job. Clearly this hotel is geared towards locals and foreign customers are not welcome. I would not stay here again, because of poor customer service. There are plenty of other choices in the area, so do skip this place.
Hotel manager also has an attitude problem and it reflects on the staff.”
”The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and the pool and outside area was fantastic. Would definitely recommend!”

Really sweet and welcoming and unexpected. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. Nice to have breakfast as an option. Great Job! Would definitely stay again. ”
”We have stayed here twice in and will come again. The room is large, the bathroom is well-designed to be helpful for someone who is physically disabled.
The bed is cozy. The desk is spacious, the TV is large and there is a perfect litttle table at the sofa. (So perfect, I bought one like it for my house.) Breakfast was great, too. We stayed here before and after an outpatient procedure at the hospital--it's a nice place to let the sedatives wear off before driving home.”
