It borders Mellis Common, a 240-acre nature reserve, which is a designated conservation area and a special landscape area. The Coach House is ideal for a family, having two double beds. There are French doors leading from the living room to an enclosed garden.

For the more adventurous, there are riding lessons; horses can even be rented from the owner. An ideal touring base, the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast and Norfolk Broads are within an easy drive. The nearby historic market towns of Eye and Diss have an interesting range of shops and restaurants, Diss also has a swimming pool and direct rail links to London. Bury St Edmunds and the vibrant city of Norwich can be reached in less than an hour. Shop within 3 miles, pub ¾ mile.

The Coach House, Coachman’s Cottage and John Fanner Barn are all situated within the same grounds and the three can be booked together to accommodate larger parties.
