”Our room had a balcony/roof top area which was good. The bed was comfortable. The price was good and it was a good base, only 10 minute walk to Bridgnorth centre. Parking was available across the road at £4 for 24 hours. One of the chairs was partly broken in our roof top area and the wall mounting for the shower head was poor. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work. We had a 2 night stay and we were happy with our stay overall. We had a breakfast on our last morning which was very good.”

”Lovely hospitality, nice food, nice room and very friendly staff. It might be an idea to inform the chef that a poached egg is not served with a lot of water swilling round the toast, otherwise marvellous. Convenient location”

”The service in the breakfast was great and helpful but products were ran out all the time. Staff was young overall and seemed unefficient. Room was beautiful and surrounding nice countryside, peaceful and pretty.”

”We stayed for two nights in June 2026, our hosts were waiting to greet us even though we were 3 hours later than our ETA. From that moment to when we left they treated us like we had known each other for many years, a truly unique experience. The breakfast and the homemade cake was simply superb. If we ever need accommodation in the area again we would not hesitate to stay with Jackie and Rob at the White Cottage in Trysull, Staffs.”

”Another fantastic stay at Moat House for my parents, who simply won't stay anywhere else when they're visiting the area! The whole team were phenomenal from start to finish. Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. The bar, restaurant and food service teams were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making guests feel genuinely valued throughout their stay. A special mention also to the...

”Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.”

”The room was just what I needed. Was in town for the Premier League. Conveniently located to the train station and an easy enough walk to Molineux.”

”Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.”
