”This was a very nice place to stay as we explored Vermont for the first time. This location was central enough for day trips to Stowe, Burlington, Woodstock, Manchester and Bennington. Restaurants in Killington and Rutland were close by for dinners. ”

”Just the fact that it is 1930s vintage says a lot. Check-in and directions super easy. There was a surprise batch of cookies and a fireplace starter which were both delightful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. Bedrooms very small but the outside front porch, back porch and yard provided cool places to relax and unwind. Near-by Usher Park a perfect place for small children. ”

”We enjoyed our stay: heard many birds, saw some beautiful sunsets. Exploring Middlebury and the maritime museum were highlights. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. This is a great getaway for a young couple.”

”A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”

”This is a beautiful property on an idyllic lake which we enjoyed very much. Linda was a more than accommodating host and we enjoyed talking with her and learning about the property and the area. Great water activities, especially the paddle boarding and canoeing. Proximity to Lake George is a plus!”
