”Lovely pool and very comfortable stay”

”We stayed in Room 19. It was a very large room and the bed was enormous. The room was immaculately cleanbandtea and coffee facilities were plentiful. Our only problem was that the water was barely warm and our showers weren't very pleasant because of the temperature of the water. ”

”Has electric car charging facilities. This was our 5th stay at this hotel and we will come back again. Breakfast is generously served and delicious. Deer in the garden too. Lovely garden views at rear.”

”The hotel was lovely. Super decor, maintaining a sense of old country inn but with a fresh modern touch. Evening diner was surprisingly good and at a good price. Service was delightful. Room very confortable and quiet Very happy stay. ”

”Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

”Excellent first rate property, room was perfect facing the quiet garden area. We sat out on the balcony and had coffee and tea in the morning. The night before had a swim and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Later had a wonderful meal in the ring room. If we’re in the region again, we’ll definitely stay, and hopefully for a little longer!”

”The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”
