”The entry to the bed and breakfast was through the owner's residence. The state of the entry probably should have given a clue about the cleanliness of the rooms. The floors in the hallway looked as though they hadn't seen a vacuum in a year. Layers of dust on the furniture in the room, and floors that were not cleaned prior to my arrival. The shared bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the shower curtain was covered in pink mold. An old used facecloth hung inside the shower. I made this reservation...

”Terrific generous breakfadt menu, cozy eating lounge. The room was in tip top shape and the hotel is superbly located right on Main Street and in walking proximity of shops, stores restaurants and cafes. Ideal place to stay abd reasonably priced room rates.”

”This is a gem of a place. I have stayed at the abner many times and am delighted to say it is always a treat. The hotel is warm charming sparkling clean and perfectly located with shopping and dining just outside your doors. The rooms are comfortably appointed with all the extras of a posh stay . The breakfast is a must and don’t skip the frittata. Dinner is a cozy culinary experience with an ample menu to cover many tastes but dine exquisitely. If open do not miss out on the rooftop lounge...

I stayed in a separate building with a relaxing common area. It would have been nice to have coffee/tea available in room or in the common area (rather than have the short walk to the office area) to get coffee in the morning, particularly in inclement weather.”

”The room smelled like urine upon entrance, the wall was covered in yellow streaks. I cleaned up with cleaning products but still can smell it. The bathtub was also quite clogged... We came to visit family spent 2 nights. Luckily the bed was ok and we only went there to sleep. Would not stay again ... We only booked it since some reviews were good after their renovations. Do not recommend to others”

”It does not seem there are Kings beds despite advertising/offering of such. Room has a full and a twin and no, they cannot be pushed together. The entire room is tiny. I mean tiny. My bf knees touched shower curtain when sitting on toilet and could not shut door-tiny. We did not attempt to use shower because so small. That being said, it satisfies what we needed it for-it was inexpensive as rates go, it was clean, the AC worked well as did the tv. Honestly I’d give 2.5.”
