My family of 4 plus our dog stayed here for a week while we did some hiking, rock climbing, and white water rafting in the New River Gorge National Park. The house is very convenient to the park as well as several restaurants and we loved how close it was to everything.The house itself was great - it's very clean, there is ample space and seating (both soft and kitchen), and there are plenty of nice towels and bedding provided. In addition, we really appreciated the extra consumables that were provided (trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap & detergent, paper towels, TP, etc.). The fenced yard was a huge plus for our dog, but if you have a smaller dog, you'll want to keep an eye on them since the fence doesn't reach the ground in a few places and more than once we saw cats back there that your dog may want to chase! You will want to note that the "twin" bunk beds are not twins at all, they are somewhere between a twin and toddler bed size. My 5'3" daughter did not fit on the mattress and ended up sleeping on the floor. Our major complaint about the house is that one neighbor on next street over lets their 3 dogs bark *ALL NIGHT LONG* which is very audible in the master bedroom. We needed white noise apps turned up high to get any sleep and I ended up moving to the couch most nights, where it wasn't as loud.So, overall, if you don't mind the extremely small bunk beds and if you can sleep through constantly barking dogs, this is a great place to stay!

There appeared to be many large gaps at the bottom of the fenced yard in the photos of the property. Because a fenced yard was our major reason to choose this listing, I contacted the host prior to our trip. I was assured that the gaps were protected by chicken wire. I counted 20 gaps in the fencing, from a size that any small dog could escape to ones that would allow a very large dog to get through. Only 2 of the smaller gaps were protected by chicken wire. The interior of the home was spacious and mostly clean.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Interior is really nicely renovated with modern furnishings and an open layout. Bedrooms all good size comfortable. Extremely clean. Location very close to tourist sites including New River Bridge, Ace adventures, and downtown Fayetteville restaurants. Was a great stay with our kids.

The inside was just as the pictures. The house was stocked with everything we needed. It was located close to town and close to all New River Gorge attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The property was great except: Shower handles felt like they were going to fall off, backyard fence was broken and the thermostat was controlled by some mystical force which made the house either suffocating or freezing. Everything else was really nice. Very convenient locale with nearby restuarants, wal mart and hiking trails.

Very nice property. Appreciated the two luggage racks with shoe platform, tons of counter space, very comfortable space. The location is convenient to the park and local amenities. The primary faucet needs some adjustment or replacement as it is quite loose and tricky to adjust. The primary bed was too soft for our taste, but others may find it fine.

The home was great for my husband and I and our three adult children to spend the weekend in while going on outdoor adventures (ACE rafting with Chickenhead never disappoints) and visiting local eateries (Pies & Pints is a must). The sectional couch was perfect for 5 adults watching pre-season football. Note though, the bunkbeds are more for little kids and not adults so one daughter had to sleep on the floor. A day bed with trundle would be a better option to accommodate adults.

The house was very clean, had everything we needed. Kitchen is one of the best equipped of all the rentals we used over the years. Beds were comfortable. Conveniently located next to many beautiful hikes in the NP. Ok neighborhood, quite close to the highway but not bothered by the noise. Friendly neighbors! Definitely recommend.

All was as described. Kitchen and bathrooms nicely stocked. Back of the house has full west exposure with no furnishings to provide shade. US 19, less than a block away, is a busy road which can be heard day and night. Overall we had a good time.

My family recently stayed at the house for a long weekend where we made daily trips to adventures on the gorge. The location was fantastic. It was right off the highway and just a few minutes from all the spots we went - including activities, scenic overlooks, gas, Walmart, and downtown Fayetteville with great food and drinks. The house was clean and super cute with West Virginia themed decor. I appreciated the dove bathroom products. We also loved the open floor plan that allowed us to spread out over the kitchen, living room and dining spaces but still be all together. We loved being able to do laundry on site too. Entry was easy and everything was great. Several of my family members stayed on site at Adventures on the Gorge and spent way more for a more rustic space. I loved that our house was priced well, spacious, and nice. If you’re thinking about staying in the area- this is place is a home run. I highly recommend it!

This home was just perfect for our family, including our pups. The owner even dropped off coffee on the porch! The only complaint we had, was the size of the beds. The bunk beds were actually smaller than twins.

Clean and cute! Excellent communication from hosts Huge Fully equipped kitchen and island for cooking and snacking. The backyard was big and fenced for privacy. There are large gaps under the fence so keep a close eye on pets and little ones. The location was super convenient, though we experienced road noise from the big hiway. The third bedroom has a cute little bunk bed , could be a little tight for adults- worked out well for us. We recommend and would stay again!

We had an amazing time at this VRBO in Fayetteville WV! We were minutes from all the action (white water rafting, national park, endless wall trail, long point trail. It couldn't get any better. The home itself was spacious, clean with a nice environment. The kitchen was great to work in. We ate home for every meal and everything I needed was in there. The bedrooms were great. Eack bathroom had a hair dryer. All in all better than expected. I highly recommend.

Clean property with nice open space! Generous supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and coffee. Walking distance to Fayetteville, and quick car ride to the New River Gorge. We spent a lot of time in the backyard!
