”There were no hand towels in the room. One toiler roll. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied from previous guest. Towel rail did not work. They run out of white bread in the morning and only one kipper left for breakfast. Totally understaffed. Such a shame not a patch on the previous owners.”

”What an absolute gem. Situated in a quiet quaint village Wayside is the perfect getaway. My room was clean and spacious with views out onto beautiful countryside. Lovely courtyard at the entrance with seating area. Continental breakfast wanted for nothing with fresh refrigerated milk, yoghurts, orange juice, cheese grapes etc. Lovely fresh bread, toaster, kettle and all you need to use. Shower room compact and spotless. I would definitely recommend”

”It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.”

”What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. Breakfast was lovely, huge croissants. Honestly can’t fault anything. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again, I want to try one of the other rooms as they’re all...

”The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”

”Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff good atmosphere in the bar. Food was good. Great aera for exploring. Stayed here before and the function room and some areas are looking neglected we understand the roof needs replacing on the function room and that there are plans in progress shorty. Needs some love to restore the curb appeal around the check in entrance to give a better first impression. Enjoyed our stay here and good value for money.”

”Beautiful hotel, rooms are just stunning and have you everything you could need. They even have little extra add ons in the corridors such as marshmallows for the fire, bath oils etc. Staff were all very friendly and polite. Could not recommend enough”
