La maison est une bonne base arrière pour visiter la région d’Orvieto, le nord du Latium, l’ouest de l’Ombrie et le sud de la Toscane. Pour info, il y avait 3 chats (très sympas !). At a great dinner in the town. We rented cars in Rome and drove up and then drove each day exploring other cities, Sienna, Florence, Assisi, and Spello. The house was perfect for us. We wish we could have stayed longer.”

”This lovely, sprawling farm house in the Val d’Orcia has plenty of space for a large family gathering, with six bedrooms, a gorgeous barbecue and swimming pool. Excellent spot from which to explore hill towns, visit wineries, and eat some excellent Tuscan cuisine. Don’t miss the hot springs at Bagni San Filippo! ”

"The location is stunning – absolutely worth the view. The road to get here, however, is in very poor condition. The pool area is beautiful, and the gym exceeded expectations with amazing views and a much higher standard than the photos suggested. Wi-Fi in the room worked poorly, and the pool bar’s lunch/after 2 pm food offering was frankly a joke – where’s the pride in Italian cuisine when you serve nothing remotely close to the real thing? We stayed for three nights, and while the service wasn’t anything special and there were no particular highlights, I could see myself coming back someday. "

"The hotel itself was lovely and surrounded by beautiful nature. However we were little bit disappointed that the spa was not included in the price of a normal room and the only option was to pay hundreds of euros more. Otherwise breakfast was nice and coffee really good. "
