The hotel is a town center pub, the facilities were fine and if its somewhere just to lay your head then its ok. If you want something a bit more up market then its probably not for you. There is parking at the back, but its not owned by the hotel, so you will have to pay. So if your on a tight budget then add an extra £10 to £15 per day for parking. Staff were great, there was a band on the night I stayed which I really enjoyed.

Staff we're great and friendly. The hotel needs lots of work doing on it. Well over priced for the accommodation in its present state. Parking was easy to find behind the hotel on a payment metre £12 for 24 hours.

The wall paper was hanging off, the shower was covered in mildew, cobwebs all over the room. The window frames were covered in mould. The kettle was unusable due to thick lime scale the bathroom floor was sticky all surfaces were covered in dust. The wardrobe was unclean, the bed linen was not fresh. The website said we had to vacate the room by 10:00 the staff told us we had to be out by 09:30. A notice in the car park stated that parking was free for hotel guests. But we were charged £12.50p

Met all our needs

It was located in the town centre with convenient adjacent pay and display car park. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were well looked after. The room was simple but spacious, and the bed comfortable.

The hotel was so dirty . The bed itself was mouldy and the headboard was all ripped. There was mold and cobwebs everywhere. You have to pay an extra 12.50 for parking. The toilet was half on its side and had to be shared by everyone on the landing. The pub across the road had a live band on until midnight so there was no way of sleeping until then. I’ve never stayed somewhere as bad as this! Horrific comes to mind!

Nice, friendly staff Parking - price expensive - parked at Cobble Landing Room on second floor - quite clean, one bedside lamp switch inaccessible, very little space to move round one side of bed, difficulty opening windows Bathroom - poorly maintained - grouting between tiles over bath/shower - disgusting [photos taken], toilet seat lose, no holder for toilet roll, dust on ledges, stain on door Landing - no light switch found to help put key in lock On returning to the hotel on Sunday evening [around 20:15] we found the hotel to be closed and locked &, although we had a key to enter, it felt very dark & desolate, we were not informed that this would be happening We are a couple in our mid 80's, have stayed at several different hotels in different parts of the country, which have all been of much better quality to 'Three Tuns Hotel', and at a lower price. At £200 for 2 nights, we feel that this was very poor value for our momey

Me and my children stayed and i have to say i was super surprised after reading other reviews. I found nothing wrong our stay it was clean our room was light and airy the staff were lovely and its 2 minutes from the beach. Il definitely be booking again! Thankyou.

Overall not bad. Very disappointing when the bar closed at 18:30. Staff were very good and they were very friendly. Excellent breakfast for the price.

Staff were excellent. In the heart of filey itself, out of the door and straight onto the street with a variety of shops to please everyone. Breakfast was an add on price as was the parking. Downsides were the steep stairs to the room and a very noisy pub opposite. Would definitely stay again but for less mobile guests its not ideal.

staff are friendly and very welcoming, breakfast was good the room was clean. the only thing I would say is that the beds were not comfortable and could do with being updated. some entertainment was missing, would have been nice to have this in the evenings.

The property is old above pub and the rooms dated but none of these are the reasons for my review the sole reason is the cleanliness of the room was subpar. There was dust on the toilet the shower essentially looked like they'd only cleaned the side where fresh cups have been placed this was the only clean thing about the room my wife was horrendously biten by bugs. That being said the staff were nice and live entertainment was quite enjoyable.

Liked Central Location , Did Not Like cleanliness of property but having said that it is very dated and well overdue for a Refurb , if it was you could charge double because of location. Parking was a nightmare trying to pay for as the machjne did not work properely.(I believe that parking is not controlled by hotel ) Breakfast OK

Lovely stay

I booked this as visiting friends in the centre of Filey and it was central and cheap. I then looked at the reviews and nearly cancelled. However, I don't know what people expect for the price! It was clean, had TV and refreshments. The staff were lovely. I would book again (mattress did creak when moving tho)

We were on the third floor, the access stairs were off the kitchen and the atmosphere smelled of chips. The furniture and bed were old, with the bed having just a foam mattress. While the bedding and towels were clean, it was obvious that the room had not been cleaned in the corners for a time, the decor was also tired. Added to that the shower was moldy so we didn't use it, had to have a hand wash.
