”When I say the owners of this establishment make you feel like your home it’s a MUST STAY I will definitely be back because it’s just that great. I wud say it’s a hidden gem of Costa Rica nestled not too far from everything but not too close either the morning coffee delivery and the breakfast each morning make this place even that much better I can’t say enough good things about The Promise 😉”

”I can only praise and give positive feedback!! Lovely place & lovely couple who owns it and takes care of you, proposes activities, tells stories about the food, locations etc. Lovely breakfast available every morning, in adittion to the coffee available every morning, which they bring to your room. Lovely place with sloths, birds etc around the premises. Lovely location a bit out of town but close to a nice beach, a store and still only a few min drive from town.”

”This property is gorgeous, and the staff is fantastic. The free breakfast (which you can also do as room service) was such a nice perk - I will miss the daily fresh-squeezed starfruit juice. We had a fantastic couples massage. I loved that there were several little spaces on the property where you could hang out away from your room. It is a little off the beaten path, but walkable to all of the restaurants and shops. We had a great stay.”

”The caretakers are the best! friendly welcoming just all around awesome, the location is perfect too, 10 min walk to the blacksand Beach, 20 min walk to Puerto Viejo, nice and quiet at night and the beds are really comfy.. will be staying there again next trip!”

”I found a great spot to hang out in Puerto Viejo, and it's super close to all the action. The staff there was fantastic, always friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which is always a huge plus in my book. Plus, the pool was the perfect place to chill out and unwind after a day of exploring. ”
