”Beautiful, I loved it here! They had bike rentals and every morning after breakfast and the pool I'd bike into town then hit a beach, everything is super close by. I loved my room, the property is really beautiful, and the staff were so friendly. I would definitely stay here again. ”

”Bien que jolie avec une belle terrasse extérieure, cette maison manque d’entretien : porte de placard branlante, 2 lits qui grincent au moindre mouvement empêchant de dormir, un robinet de lavabo déscellé, micro-ondes en panne, porte d’entrée difficile à ouvrir, et interrupteurs difficiles à trouver. Nous avons été aussi un peu déçu de l’accueil froid de la propriétaire, pas franchement à l’écoute et peu prévenante: nous avons certes eu 1h de retard sur l’heure d’arrivée mais personne pour nous...

”Great place to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. Super friendly staff who were always there to answer any questions. The pool area was great and well maintained. Suites were clean with very well decorated. Will definitely be back!”

”Great staff we had problems with another hotel in the area due to cleanliness I contacted them and they helped get us in the room early so we could leave the bad hotel sooner. Super friendly super clean place. Nice staff and good drinks by the pool. The breakfast was delicious as well ”

”We were really impressed with this property. Staff were very courteous, helpful and available throughout the day. Great location for walking to Cocles beach and in town. Very good wifi and breakfast. We rented a Motobike from across the road for $25/day which made getting around the area super easy. Would recommend!”

”The bungalow was private and you can see toucans in your back yard. Isabella is amazing, she helped me order food for delivery in the rain, she helped organize excursions, she helped with bike rentals/organized tuk tuks, and recommended things to do around town/best sunsets. Anytime I am in Puerto Viejo I will stay at Villa Roca de Caribe for sure.”

”Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. ”

”Great stay in a very convenient location, with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful, and they even went out of their way to help me resolve an issue with my bicycle, which I really appreciated.”

”We arrived and had to wait 40 minutes before anyone would even check us in because there was no one in the office. When the office person finally arrived, Luciano, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. He finally led us to our room after taking more than enough time to check us in. The path on the way to the suite was very dark and I tripped a few times. The apartment had loose bricks leading up to it, even the journey there was unsafe. ”Wenn man sich auf das Abenteuer ein indigenes Volk zu besuchen einlässt, muss man sich natürlich auf Einfachheit einstellen. Man schläft auf abgenutzten Matratzen und die sanitären Anlagen haben schon lange keine Reinigung erlebt. Trotzdem war es eine und interessante und informative Zeit. Alle waren sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich, Wir wurden wunderbar bekocht, und man bemühte sich uns vieles zu erklären. Von daher ein unvergessliches Abenteuer.”

”Will for sure return. We appreciated the tranquility and lack of artificial noise. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with generous portions; thank you for all the coffee too. Breakfast and pool area are shared, it was nice and comfortable. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It even has cooking oil, salt, and some spices, utensils are basic. The trails are short distance. Staff was friendly. Cocles beach is my favorite in the area so I’ll say it’s well...
