”Excellent place to stay if going to the fjord lands. Very sweet people run the motel and walk you to your room. ”

”The motel was next to the Manapouri lake and there was a very nice view to the lake from the rooms. The rooms were quite basic but all right for two nights (we visited the Doubtful Sound from Manapouri -- and that was great!) The breakfast options were quite good. WiFi hardly worked from the room but was all right in the reception area.”

”Nice villa, but the bathroom was in need of renovation. Pool and barbecue area and pathways were not very welcoming (concrete). Good breakfast. Good location.”

”We chose this hotel due to the closer access to the sounds but ended up falling in love with Te Anau! You have to visit the Redcliff restaurant if you stay here. The apartment we stayed in was huge, I never knew how much I needed a LayZ boy chair until I stayed here. The towels were big and fluffy, unlike anywhere else we stayed during the three weeks. The lady on the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. I just wish we’d stayed longer, two nights wasn’t enough. Views of the lake were...

”Very well laid out communal cooking, dining and lounge areas. Perfect place for affordable accommodation that is across from the lake and minutes from the town centre. This is the perfect place for young adults upwards, they clearly state no young children. My private ensuite room was very clean and comfortable with lake views and a blacony area. The only thing about my room is they need to fix the front facing window so you can open it especially as the weather warms up”
