”Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

”We really enjoyed this secluded area of the UP. The space itself is huge, and we were able to bring our dog, which was great. Would highly recommend for anything looking for a getaway with some outdoor activities nearby.”

We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell! ”The owner has thought of everything. Stuff for adults like coffee, fully stocked cupboards to rocking chairs on the front porch. Lots of kids fun stuff to do. Feels like home. My daughter was traveling in the UP and camping. The last night was rainy and when I asked if they could stay with us she said absolutely! My home away from from home when I visit my family in the UP.”

”I’ve stayed at these cabins regularly growing up. I was pleasantly surprised by how the new owner updated the property. The cabin was clean and welcoming. And the space was perfect as a main gathering area for the larger family. I had a little bit of trouble finding the right cabin because they all have the same address. I also had some trouble with the keypad lock but I think this was my fault. The great thing was that the owner answered my calls right away and was very friendly and helpful....

”This house is so big but also so cozy feeling. There is so much space for kids to run and play while the adults relax. ”Host is super responsive and the property has pretty much everything you need. The lake is pretty small, but super clear and great for bass fishing! Personally, I feel that the “sleeps 12” is a stretch, and think the furniture and beds would not be adequate for that many. Inflatable mattress needs to be replaced as it deflates within a couple hours. Loved the touch of having puzzles and movies available, as it was great to have during rainy times. Overall, really nice place to spend our week!”
