”The property is well maintained and retains its character very well. Breakfast was excellent with good options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay there again.”

”The accommodation was good although they were undertaking refurbishment works to the corridor where I was accommodated. Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. Staff were good. Could not get into the restaurant on one evening - so booking is required. The snack bar was just ok, nothing to write home about. Parking was easy - lots of space. The grounds were good to walk around. Would book here again.”

”We noticed the disinfectant is diluted as was the breakfast maple syrup for the pancakes. This is a false economy as we didn’t eat there again. A saving of a few pence against four days of breakfast and evening meals. ”

”The room was immaculate and loved the breakfast basket, great little touch, great big shower too, can't fault the room at all, staff were very friendly and helpful. Ant plenty of parking, will deffinately stay there again”

”Best bed for us on this trip. Also only host to provide a shower cap. A room on the other side of the building would have been excellent but unfortunately we were assigned a room next to the Main Street and had a sleepless night due to the traffic noise.”

”Nothing unique, just a well run pleasant hotel. It's in an business estate that's empty at night,so it's very quiet, but no pubs or shops nearby but plenty in town”

”Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.”

”Hotel was nice, we really enjoyed the pool and the rooms. We did find that the what in the shower kept going hot and cold but not the end of the world. However something in the room made my partner have an allergic reaction so I'd you have allergies it might be worth bringing up in case it's a pet friendly room”
