”Pictures online did NOT match reality. Dirty room with dust that had been present a very long time. Broken glass pieces on floor. Yellow stained sheets. Shower curtain stunk of marijuana. Daylight exposed through exterior door. Room smelled of mildew. Bugs in the bathroom. Waste of money. Yes it’s a cheap motel but they can afford to actually clean…Also sat at the front desk nearly 10 minutes and called before anyone came to check us in. Would’ve rather slept in our car.”

”I walked into my room to find a bucket on the bed catching water from a leaking roof. The non smoking room smells so badly like smoke. I was in the room for a total of 1 minute before leaving and finding a different place to stay. The property refused to give any refund.”

”This is a truly unique hotel. It was beautifully, renovated, spacious, super clean, and very convenient for exploring Marshall. The restaurant was good, and it was very relaxing sitting on the deck and listening to the river. The unit was nicely equipped. The only difficulty we had was getting a hold of anyone for questions when we arrived. The phone number in the binder did not answer our call nor reply to text message. I did see a very helpful employee cleaning the next day who answered...
